A Play About A Tribal Couple Narrated Amidst The Epics

In a folk version of the Indian Epic,Mahabharatha, there is a story of a tribal couple who play a crucial role in maintaining the secure status of the virtual kingdom of the legends through a deed of sacrifice and penance.The husband was the chief tribal magician who had practiced the art of black magic in the courts of kings and once he had been threatened by the mighty king of the Kauravas  to destroy his opponents , the Pandavas, through the deeds of a black magic.The poor tribal magician was forced to commit the destruction of the virtuous Pandavas.When the news of this vicious deed was reached  at the wife of the tribal man, she burst out in fury and attempted to her own son to save the five Pandava princes and their mother from the disastrous magic which was helplessly committed by her husband at the threat of the ruling Kauravas..;
This folk story has given birth to one of the most popular and touching plays being rendered in the classical dance drama version of Kathakali (enactment of a play) of Kerala in India. The tribal couple in the semi-classical and folk style in the play had been a catching element of colors and duet- performance patterns on the stage of the dance-drama and I had tried to make out different studies on their postures during my teenage on paper either in water and poster colors as shown here....:-

The Mighty Queen of the Legend !

This Mighty Queen  represents a character from the legends of India who had imposed a might upon the kingdom to crown her son instead of the actual successor and won the word of the king according to her..I put the colors and forms so as to evolve the power of beauty to win a battle for a crown and to establish influence on a large mass of policyholders according to the might of its surveillance....!
The work is a study in poster colors on paper at my 20s :

A Rustic Shop In Poster Color !

Though the subject was realized by myself at my teenage,the theme of the rustic shop to paint was delivered by my father who had been my first and foremost teacher in art on an occasion during which I had been strenuously found time enough to work out in watercolors and poster colors...This rustic shop,may be called as a village restaurant,has evolved in the colors and figures as seen now is the outcome of the visual improvisation of a theme that had been derived from my father and visualized and executed by me as a teenager...but based upon no other specimens than the mere visual and social concept of the subject within my visual speculation; thus I conceived the characters, the   lady as the server, the men at the dining and the man inside the kitchen in the background..furthermore,the light was provided as if spread out from an electric bulb atop inside the room and restricted by the walls around...; the portrayal of their facial expressions, I think, is evident through the color tones and lights and shades recreated according to the time and conditions suggested:
